A Monument to Egyptian Power
Luxor Temple is one of the most preserved ancient monuments in Egypt. Built around 1400 BCE, it was dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship and perhaps crowned many pharaohs here.
Architectural Highlights
The temple features massive pylons, a colonnade containing 14 papyrus-capital columns, and the famous obelisk (its twin now stands in Paris).
Night Visit Recommendation
One of the most magical experiences is visiting Luxor Temple at night when it is beautifully illuminated, creating an ethereal atmosphere.
